Evangelia Dolou, Administrative Staff

Evangelia Dolou is graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the Demokritus University, Greece. She is a certified computer user and has good knowledge of English.

She has attended several seminars on Public Administration of Education Processes, as well as Education on Sports. In 2014 she participated successfully in a seminar series to update knowledge and aptitudes for university graduates. In 2015 she attended the Educational Programme "Athletes’ Dual Careers".

She belongs to the administration staff of the University of the Peloponnese and serves both as Secretary to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies, and as Secretary to the Department of History, Archaeology and Cultural Resources Management. In the past she worked as Professor of Physical Education at the Olympic Education Programme and in Athletic Schools, and she has also been an instructor at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Kalamata.

For ten years she has systematically trained and worked on track and field events, winning several distinctions in national and Balkan Games. An athlete herself, she has won 6th place at the 1500m track at World Championships (Florence, 1984). She has also achieved three national records in the long distance field events. She is married and has two sons.
